Many students at rural schools catch the bus to school and need specific instruction on how to keep safe while waiting for and catching the school bus.
We can come to your school for a rural bus safety session
Our rural bus safety session aims to raise awareness of potential risks and safety issues. The session consists of a classroom lesson using our innovative Travel Ninja video, followed by a bus excursion. During this excursion the driver will reinforce safety messages and stop a key locations in order for children to put what they have learnt into practice.
A bus safety session can be only for students who catch the bus to and from school, or it can be for all students. This is particularly relevant when students travel on buses for school trips and to/from other locations regularly.
